You can donate any amount to Epworth Old Rectory to help us continue caring for the house, gardens and our collections, whilst making them as accessible as possible for everyone to visit and enjoy.

Our Projects for 2026 – 2029
We have selected six important projects that we would like to deliver – and we need your help. From 2026 to 2029, we’ll be raising funds for each one, and we hope you will help us make them happen. We will fundraise for these six projects for up to three years, then review and, if needed, reallocate funds to those closest to completion.
Help us fundraise by hosting an event or donate yourself. Every amount raised helps us reach our targets and makes a difference.
Library & Resource Room – support the creation of a fully accessible ground-floor library, providing a permanent home for our remarkable book collection. Enabling researchers to use it with ease.
Target £60,000 – Project Code 1LRR
A Wildflower Garden – we plan to establish a pollinator-friendly area within our orchard, encouraging greater biodiversity and creating added interest in the gardens for all our visitors.
Target £2,500 – Project Code 2WG
Repairs to our Staircase – the central staircase requires extensive repair and renovation. Your support will help us carry out this essential conservation project. and renew its former glory.
Target £250,000 – Project Code 3SCR
Replacement Window Coverings – appropriate blinds are essential for protecting our valuable collections. With your support, we can refit every window with carefully chosen, high-quality fittings.
Target £10,000 – Project Code 4WC
Transport for Schools & Community Groups – many local groups lack the funds to travel to the Old Rectory. Your support can help us offer grants, ensuring they are still able to visit and take part in our work.
Target £5,000 – Project Code 5TSC
John Wesley Coverlet – recent conservation work shows it is now too fragile to display and needs further specialist treatment. Your support will fund this work and a high-quality replica for display.
Target £15,000 – Project Code 6JWC
