If you provide home learning for your child then you might be very interested to know that we provide exclusive workshops and visits for groups of home learners throughout the year.

The Old Rectory provides a perfect venue for smaller groups and particularly children with SEND, who might prefer quieter and calmer environments. We offer monthly sessions for up to 10 children and their parents or carers to come an enjoy learning experiences together, all linked to the national curriculum.

Sessions are just £5 per child (non-refundable) and need to be pre-booked through our Eventbrite page.

Museum Takeover – Kids in Museums 2026

This summer we’ve had a fantastic time working with some our our home educated learners to create brand new displays of previously unseen objects in our collection.

Lilly (aged 12), Fliss (aged 12), Scarlett (aged 10) and Jonah (aged 8) selected objects that appealed to them and undertook their own research to find out more.

Their findings along side the objects they selected are now on display in The Old Rectory.
