History Alive!

Visit the Old Rectory on a Saturday throughout the year and as part of your exploration of the house and gardens you will be able to meet and chat to one of our friendly costumed Volunteers and even have a go at a heritage craft yourself. Whether they are demonstrating drop spinning, needlecraft, soap making or cookery from the 18th century (when you can pick up some tips and even a few recipes to try at home!) you’ll be sure to have an interesting visit to the ‘Home of the Wesley’s’. Admission is £4 per person and includes these encounters. Some crating materials may be an additional small charge.
