The Role of Friends
As a Friend you could help to preserve and share our heritage by becoming a supporter who HELPS:
- Honour – support the running of the Old Rectory by giving an annual donation
- Encourage – inspire individuals and groups to visit and support the Old Rectory
- Learn – attend or become involved with our programme of events
- Provide – send articles to our newsletters or share ideas for future events and activities
- Serve – if local you may wish to join our team of volunteers
Special Benefits
As a Friend you will receive the following special benefits:
- Free entry to the house – including some special events
- Two newsletters – in the spring and autumn. We would encourage you to receive this by email to save on postage and print costs
- An exclusive Christmas event highlighting work undertaken during the year. This will be an online event.
- Bring a guest for a visit or event (who then takes up ‘Friends membership’), then your guest enjoys that day’s admission for free
- An in-person Friends’ Fundraising event in May each year. Friends, who are not able to attend in person will also be encouraged to organise an event in their own locality on the same day, and then participate, on-line, in the event hosted at the Old Rectory.
Annual Friendship Rates
- Single Person – £25
- Couple – £40
We hope you will consider becoming a friend. If you are interested please complete the expression of interest form below.
