Thomas Showrs the son of ???? and Mary Showrs was born in the year of our Lord 1758 and January the 17th. Beneath this is "Francis Showrs His Book 1774 and on opposite page Hannah Showres and some indistinct entries in pencil including "Thomas Temperton". Additionally on the title page is the name "Martha Johnson 1768"
