earthenware cream Leeds ware teapot with lithograph of Wesley, Hamilton, Cole and Bosanquet

Earthenware cream Leeds ware teapot with a separate creamware lid. It has a bulbous shape and its handle has a double ribbed strip ending with flower heads. The spout is also cream with a bas-relief floral design. There is a brown lithograph of 3 men, James Hamilton,M.D., John Wesley and James Cole in the manner of the John Kay (1742-1826) drawing 1790. On the back there is an oval cameo of Mary Fletcher nee Bosanquet (1739-1815) facing three quarter front left. She is wearing a hooded cloak over a white cap. Mary Bosanquet was the widow of Rev. John Fletcher of Madeley. In the manner of probably David Orme(1765-1815) painting c.1790
