earthenware glazed bust
Earthenware glazed bust of John Wesley on a bow fronted waisted socle. The bust is white and undecorated. The back is solid and concave with an oblong earthenware medallion with chamfered corners. The bust is in the style of Enoch Wood modelled from life in 1781 series 2. The hair is styled in a single roll on the shoulder. there are 2 neck buttons and the bands come from the top of the cravat. The socle is integral, bow fronted and waisted.
