Earthenware flat-back rococo style ornament with a figure of John Wesley.There is a relief dove painted purple with a faded green olive branch on the canopy. On either side of the dove is a cherub's head with wings. The cherubs' hair is black, their faces are flesh coloured, eyes thin black lines, cheeks pink and lips red. Their wings are highlighted in blue. There is a half-length figure of John Wesley standing behind a pulpit. On the pulpit is an open book (Bible) with red edges and black lines on the open pages. On the pulpit front is a clock face with gold painted Arabic numerals and hands pointing to 3.35. In each corner above the clock there is a relief leaf painted green and in each corner below the clock there is in relief a flower head with 2 green leaves. The left has 7 brown dots and the right 7 brown dots. The ornament is highlighted in green, red and blue. The grey hair is straight and resting on the shoulders.The face and hands are flesh coloured. The pupils are white, the eyelids and eyebrows are black the cheeks are pink and the lips are red. The cassock is black. The cravat is white and bands come out of the bottom. The gown is black reaching to the pulpit and the shoes cannot be seen. The right hand is held to head height and the left hand is resting on his waist.
