To the left is John Wesley facing 3/4 front right in the manner of the George Romney (1734-1802) Portrait painted 1789. To the right is Charles Wesley facing 3/4 front left in the manner of the John Russell R.A. (1745-1806) portrait painted 1771. The images are labelled "John Wesley M.A. 1703-1791 and Charles Wesley M.A. 1707-1788
