Key to print showing John Wesley and members of the Holy Club in Oxford. In the middle of the picture is a large table, John Wesley is standing on the right side of the table with one hand on a book which is lying on the table, his other hand slightly raised. Other members of the group are arranged around the table. A large bible is lying on the floor under the table. The club member to the left of the table is leaning back in his chair (made from turned wood and decorated fabric). To the left a man is standing in front of a bookcase, with a book in one hand reaching up towards a book. In the left back corner a man is just entering the door into the room.
