Basalt bust of John Wesley, no preaching bands on a separate attached basalt round socle. The back of the bust is solid and concave. The bust is in the manner of Enoch Wood modelled from life in 1781. The hair is styled in a single roll to the shoulder There is a cassock, cravat and gown with medium size folds but no bands or neck buttons. The socle is also in basal, is round waisted and attached to the bust by a brass screw and nut and a large brass washer.t
