Earthenware glazed bust of John Wesley in the manner of Enoch Woods Series 1. The face and hair are under glaze painted while the cassock, gown and socle are overgraze enamel painted. The cravat, preaching bands and preaching scarf are white. The hair is grey and single roll on shoulder. The face is flesh coloured.with pink cheeks, red nostrils and lips. The eyes have black pupils, white irises and grey eyebrows. The gown has black flattened folds. The socle is integral, square and slightly bow fronted. The front outer edges are painted dark maroon. The inner border has small triangular painted designs and a blue painted border. The centre is white with JW in gold script. The sides and back are dark maroon with a painted imitation marble design.
