coloured postcard of Winchelsea

Coloured postcard of Winchelsea which has been posted. The obverse is in the manner of a water-colour drawing of the Winchelsea Tree by W H Borrow (fl 1863-1893) It is a coloured street scene with a large tree in the foreground. The reverse of the card has a pale yellow green Half Penny stamp with the head of King Edward 7th facing left. The postmark is Winchelsea 12.5 pm SP 20/11 Sussex (1911) Hand written in black ink is the message " We will be back on Thursday 21st & I will call on you on Friday- or my wife. With many thanks for your trouble in the matter. Yours sincerely J Wilson Forster." Addressed to SPMoulton Esq Manager London County and Westminster Bank, High Street, Bushey Herts
