John Wesley is wearing a cassock and gown with preaching bands coming from the top of a cravat. The reverse of the coin shows a head and shoulders bust of Charles Wesley looking 3/4 front left in the manner of John Russell RA (1745-1806) engraved by T A Dean. Charles is wearing a cassock and gown with preaching bands coming from the top of a cravat.
