Commemorative Portrait medal 1839 with half length profile of Charles Wesley looking 3/4 front left. The obverse image is in the manner of John Russell RA (1745-1806) engraved by T A Dean. Charles Wesley is wearing a cassock and gown with preaching bands coming from the top of a cravat. The reverse of the consists of 3 inscriptions and 2 depictions of an olive branch.
