Commemorative Portrait medal 1839 with half length profile of John Wesley looking left. The obverse profile is in the manner of Henry Edridge RA (1767-1821) engraved by R Page. John Wesley is wearing a cassock and gown with preaching bands coming from the top of a cravat. The reverse of the coin shows the front of a building with 5 bays, 3 storeys high with 4 round Corinthian columns and 2 flat Corinthian columns on a rustic base.
