earthenware figure of John Wesley

Earthenware figure of John Wesley on an integral round hollow base. The back is a solid flowing gown. The hair is grey with a single roll loose on the shoulder. The face is flesh coloured with pink cheeks and red lips. The pupils and the eyebrows are black. The cassock has a white top and purple skirt and reaches to black shoes The cummerbund is also white and black bands come from the top of a white cravat. The gown is flowing reaching the base at the sides and the back. The legs can not be seen but the hands are flesh coloured and are holding a book (Bible) which is open and has a red cover and white pages with black lines. The base is round green and white with a small round hole underneath.
