Bronze bicentennial medal, obverse shows a head and shoulder image of Francis Asbury, facing 7/8 front right, wearing a high collared jacket. The image is in the manner of the Charles Peale Polk (1767-1822) portrait (1794). The reverse shows the insignia of the United Methodist Church, a plain cross with a two flicker flame to the left.
