White metal portrait medal 1839 with portrait of John Wesley facing left and on the reverse is Centenary Hall. Obverse half length image of John Wesley looking left in the manner of Henry Edridge ARA (1767 - 1821) Engraving by R. Page. Wesley is wearing a cassock and gown with preaching bands coming from the top of a cravat. Inscription on obverse in relief in a 3/4 circle around Wesley's image " John Wesley. M.A. Born at Epworth , June 17th 1703, Died in London March 2nd 1791 On the reverse is the front elevation of a building with 5 bays, 3 storeys high with 4 round Corinthian columns on a rustic base.
