White metal bicentennial portrait medal, with the profiles of John Wesley and Francis Asbury facing left. To the left is a head and neck image of John Wesley, facing 3/4 front right. He is wearing a cassock with preaching bands coming from the top of a cravat. (in the manner of the John Jackson R.A. (1778-1831) portrait (1827) reversed. To the right, a head and neck image of Francis Asbury facing 7/8 from right wearing a high collared jacket. In the manner of the Charles Peale Polk (1767-1822) portrait (1794).
