earthenware green enamel painted jug with pewter lid and black transfer prints of John Wesley

Earthenware jug with pewter hinged lid with a pewter hinged handle. The lid is secured to the jug with pewter rivets. There are straight sides narrower at the rim than the base. Enamel painted green with gold line below the rim. There is a white pottery rope style handle. There is a transfer print in black with gold highlighting around the double oval. On both sides there is a small half length blue transfer print portrait of John Wesley looking 3/4 front left in the manner of John Jackson RA (1778-1831) painting 1827.
