earthenware round plaque of John Wesley

Earthenware round portrait plaque with black transfer print of John Wesley facing 3/4 left. The half length portrait is in the manner of John Barry (Fl 1780- 1830) miniature (1790) reversed from the William Thomas Fry (1789-1843) etching. There are pronounced veins on the left temple. There is an outer border painted blue and an inner border painted plum. There are two holes in the top border to facilitate hanging.
