A Bound collection of 560 hymns. The binding is black leather with gold tooling on the covers. On the spine are 3 gold tooled decorations. Between the top and second decoration the words "Wesley's Hymns" are tooled in gold. There is a brass clasp fitting but the clasp is missing. On the frontispiece there is an engraving of John Wesley looking 3/4 front right in the manner of John Barry (floruit 1780-1830) of 1 Old Compton Street, Soho, London. Miniature painted 1790.
