The seal is a bas relief profile of John Wesley facing left in the manner of Henry Edridge ARA (1769-1821) portrait 1790. Wesley's hair rests on his shoulder. He is wearing a clerical gown, bands coming from the top of a cravat, a cassock and a gown. The impression is of the official "British Methodist Conference Seal"
