thin steel round medallion with profile of Charles Wesley
The medallion is made in thin steel with relief head and shoulders profile of Charles Wesley facing 3/4 right in the manner of Jonathan Spilsbury (1737-1812. fl 1760- 1790 ) The obverse is brass finished. The reverse is undecorated. The medallion is in a paper-mache frame with a brass hanging device and a brass ring.There is a missing printed paper that was attached to the back which had the following words. Rev. Charles Wesley Born 18th December, Old Style, 1708; died 29th March 1788. Aged seventy-nine Years and three months.
