Oval portrait of John Wesley in blue jasper dip and white jasper bas relief in the manner of the medallion struck by W Mainwaring (fl 1790-1798) Birmingham. the white bas relief profile of John Wesley is facing right. The hair is styled in a side rol and the rest sits in short rolls on his shoulder. he is wearing a cravat, bands, cassock with a neck button and gown. he frame is a black papier mache with an oval aperture with an oval copper band. There is a hanging device with relief design of a rose, thistle and shamrock. There is a brass ring attached to the device.
