earthenware jug with bas-relief coloured image of John Wesley

An earthenware jug of bulbous design with a bas-relief moulded image of John Wesley facing 3/4 front left in the manner of William Hamilton RA (1751-1801) portrait painted in 1788. Wesley's right hand is raised to waist height and his left hand is resting on an open book (Bible) which is sitting on a red cushion. Wesley is painted with his face and hands flesh coloured. The cassock and gown are black and the bands are white. This image is on both sides of the jug. The handle is a rococo style and the jug is painted in blue and green designs.
