Parian figure of John Wesley in the manner of Minton shape 47. The back is hand finished and is a shaped gown with full folds. The hair is styled in a single roll at each side with ringlets resting on the shoulders. There is a cassock and cravat. The bands come from the top of the cravat. The legs have stockings and below the knee breeches while the shoes have buckles. The gown is calf length with full folds. The right hand is held shoulder high and the left hand is at chest height and is holding an open book (Bible). The socle is round.
