Earthenware flat-back Gothic style ornament with a figure of John Wesley standing under a canopy and above a clock with no numerals. There are 4 roundels on the canopy and the base is in a rococo style. The figure of John Wesley has a cherub with black hair at either side. The white ornament is highlighted in blue and gold. The figure of John Wesley is in the manner of the R.Owen sculpture of Hull drawing 1856. The grey hair is in a single roll resting on the shoulders.The face and hands are flesh coloured. The pupils, eyelids and eyebrows are black the cheeks are pink and the lips are red. The cassock is full length and black. The cravat is white and bands come out of the top. The gown is full length and white with gold highlighting. The shoes are black. The right hand is held above the head and the left hand is holding a book( the bible) at waist height. There are black marks on the open pages with green edges. On either side of the platform there is a winged cherub with black hair, eyebrows, eyelids, blue eyes, red lips, pink cheeks and gold painted wings
