Parian bust of John Wesley on an integral socle in the manner of Enoch Wood full folds second series. There is no decoration. The hair is styled in a single roll to the shoulder. The bands come out of the top of the cravat and the gown has full folds. The socle is designed as 2 books laid one on top of the other. There is a cloth draped over the books. The top book has the spine facing the front and has impressed "The Life of Christ" and the bottom book has the spine facing the back and has impressed "The Holy Bible"
