earthenware figure of John Wesley

Earthenware figure of John Wesley on an integral round hollow base. The back is a solid flowing gown. The hair is grey with a single roll loose on the shoulder. The face is flesh coloured with pink cheeks and red lips. The pupils and the eyebrows are black. The cassock is white and reaches to black shoes. The cummerbund is also white and white bands come from the top of a white cravat. The gown is flowing reaching the base at the sides and the back. The legs can not be seen but the hands are flesh coloured and are holding a book (Bible) which is open and has a black cover and white pages. The base is round green and white with a small round hole underneath.
