large oak sideboard with lower and upper section
Large oak sideboard with 2 sections. The lower section has 4 drawers with carved lunette and circular motives. The two outer drawers have dark and light wood triangular patterns. Brass locks are fitted with brass screws. There are 4 cupboards with carved doors and a central fixed carved panel. The doors have brass hinges, iron locks and brass keyhole inserts. The two outer doors have 4 leaf floral designs, the 2 inner doors have carved narrow diamond design and the inner panel has a carved square diamond design. There are 4 split baluster supports and 5 bulbous turned feet at the front and 2 at the back. The upper section has a swell frieze with carved stylised foliage supported by 5 bulbous cup and cover turned uprights. The back panel is comprised of 16 square panels each having a carved flower design within a diamond pattern.
