Our Learning Offer includes two unique weeks in the year to celebrate ‘Wesley Week’ in May and ‘Christmas with the Wesleys’ in November.

Places are limited so it advised to book early.

Wesley Week

Coming May 2026

Your class can enjoy the half day activities of  Wesley Week just prior to the May half term (dates will be published for 2026 soon)

Activities include:

Meet Susanna in her kitchen and participate in literacy activities exploring reading and writing in the 18th century

Take part in ‘Escape Room’ puzzles and games in Samuel’s study led by Hetty Wesley, younger sister of John

Meet Charles and John Wesley (as puppets) to explore music and verse, including one of our best known hymns written by Charles – ‘Hark the Herald Angels Sing’

Encounter John Wesley in his Physick Garden to uncover the science of many well known herbs and flowers.

 

Christmas with the Wesleys

24th to 28th November 2025

Celebrate the run up to Christmas at home with the Wesley Family with a full day of activities offered in partnership with Wesley Memorial Church

Activities include:

Traditional crafting using significant greenary from our gardens

Explore the words and music of traditional Christmas Carols

A space for lunch

The meaning of the Christmas Story at Wesley Memorial Church

PLUS – Subsidised coach travel for 2025

Costs & Duration

Wesley Weeks are FREE  for 2025 (costs will apply in 2026)

One free teacher admission for every 6 children – more by arrangement

Full-day Wesley workshops are from 10am to 2:30pm.

Half-day Wesley workshops are from 10am to 12pm.

We advise schools to arrive at 9:45 for a prompt 10am start.
